Manitowoc, WI (11.5.2019)- The Laker's poor shooting results in a lopsided loss to the red hot shooting team in Viterbo University. The Lakers fall by the score of 79-50.
How it Happened:
In the first half, the opening 7 minutes were a deadlock as the Lakers and V-Hawks were tied at 11-11. The V-Hawks answered with a 6-0 run to raise their lead to 17-11. The Lakers answered with 5 unanswered points by Bryanth Farr and Byron Dean Jr. The V-Hawks responded with a 17-2 run that all but sealed the game for the V-Hawks and put the game out of reach. Going into halftime, the Lakers would be down by 15 points with the score of 36-21.
In the second half, the cold shooting continued for the Lakers as the V-Hawks continued to grow their lead. The Lakers shot 35.3% for the game while the V-Hawks shot 43.5% from the field. More importantly, the V-Hawks shot 47.3 percent from three point land connecting on 17 three pointers in the game.
The Lakers would fall by the score of 79-50.
