Lakers Come From Behind to Defeat the Storm

How it Happened:  The Lakers traveled to St. Bonifacius to face off with the Storm of Crown College. Crown College was able to get on the board early with a goal in the 1st minute. Crown would keep momentum in the early game scoring in the 14th minute taking a 2-0 lead into the 2nd half.

The Lakers would jump on the board in the 40 the minute with a goal by Tianna Tippets-Howard (FR/Cheyenne, WY). In the 55th minute, Lakers were able to force a corner kick. Off the set-piece, Katherine Lopez (FR/Conroe, TX) was able to reach the back of the net tying the score at 2-2.  Lakers would seize the momentum when Tippets-Howard would connect on her 2nd goal of the afternoon in the 58th minute.

In the 64th and 65th minute Crown College was able to force two corner kicks that were stonewalled by the Lakers Defense. Lakers would go on to win the game by the score of 3-2 over the storm.
