LAKERS STUMBLE IN SATURDAY'S TRIP TO MILWAUKEE

 

How it Happened:

Game One: Silver Lake College vs. Eureka College (10-25), (15-25), (14-25)

In-game one of the day, Lakers struggled to get into a rhythm offensively. Eureka's explosive firepower made game one a quick game. Lakers were led by 11 kills from Tasha Rabe (SR/Kiel, WI) and 11 digs. Rachel Kluba (SO/Manitowoc, WI) added in 18 assists.

 

Game Two: Silver Lake College vs. Iowa Wesleyan University (15-25), (17-25), (9-25) Lakers would follow with a match with Iowa Wesleyan University. Lakers would be competitive in game one and two but would fall short. Lakers were led by Emily Kretsch (SR/Manitowoc, WI) and Tasha Rabe each recording 6 kills. Rachel Kluba would add in 14 assists.

 

Game Three: Silver Lake College vs. Cardinal Stritch University (13-25), (14-25), (13-25)In the nightcap against fellow NAIA Institution, Cardinal Stritch University; Lakers would struggle to get points consistently. In the 6th game in two days, Lakers were at times running low on energy but still managed to force long volleys throughout the three sets. Lakers were led offensively by Tasha Rabe who recorded 9 kills. Brianna Holcomb(FR/Jackson, MS) led the team defensively with 7 digs.
